Action Mechanism

Irovel H is actively composed of irbesartan 150 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg. Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the angiotensin’s vasoconstrictor and aldosterone-secreting effects, allowing the blood vessels to dilate for easy flow of blood, thereby lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide blocks sodium chloride (NaCl) transport in the kidney, working as a diuretic (water pill) to reduce high blood pressure.

Dosage

Irovel H should be taken exactly as advised by a prescribing doctor. Please follow all instructions provided by your doctor in order to use this medicine safely and effectively.
One can take this high blood pressure medication once daily, with or without food, or as recommended by a doctor. Do not overdose or self-medicate.
Swallow a whole pill of Irovel H. Do not crush, split, chew, or break the pill before consumption. You must take the medicine at a fixed time every day, without missing or skipping the dose.
