Generic Prometrium 100mg For Post Menopausal Abnormalities

Description

Generic Prometrium contains Progesterone, which is a type of female hormone. This medicine is similar to the progesterone that the body naturally secretes and is advised to replace the hormone when the body is not making enough of it. Generic Prometrium is used to restore normal menstrual periods that might have stopped for several months in women who are not pregnant and have not gone through menopause.

It is also used as part of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with estrogens to reduce menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness. Generic Prometrium is added to estrogen replacement therapy to prevent and reduce the risk of uterine cancer. Progesterone is used to test for pregnancy
