What are kidney stone?
 
A kidney stone (renal calculi) are solid masses that are formed due to deposition of salts from the kidney, in the urinary tract. Biologically, urine contains chemicals that can control the formation of these crystals from forming. When these inhibitors stop performing, there is formation of kidney stones. Some of these solid masses are small in size and can pass through the urinary tract along with the urine, and the person may not even feel it. Others, which are larger stay back, post which the symptoms of kidneys stones emerge. Kidney stone is not a new disease as there is historical evidence found in a 7,000 year old mummy that shows that this disease was present before also. Among the various kidney diseases, kidney stones are one of the most common disorders. Due to this, there are various natural treatments available that help in the treatment of kidney stones:

• Vitamin D- in some people, the lack of vitamin D can cause this disease as the stones also comprise of calcium salts. Vitamin D supplements can control the disease and also ensure that it does not aggravate.
• Water- this is an ancient therapy that is used by millions of people and has some really encouraging results. As per this therapy, a kidney stone man should drink 8 to 10 liters of water every day. Though seems like an impossible task, it can help save people from using surgery as a form of treatment and also save 1000 of dollars that would have gone in medical treatment. The water start dissolving the salt till it is tiny enough to be washed out by urine.
• Kidney beans- also known as French beans are said to be an excellent remedy for kidney stones. Having boiled kidney beans for almost a moth is believed to be an excellent remedy for kidneys. As per traditional use of kidney beans for treatment, they were soaked in water for 8 hours, boiled and strained. The strained liquid was then keep aside for 4-5 hours and given to patients who suffered from kidney stones. It was important to consume this water  within 24 hours as after that, it would not have any effect.
