Losing weight will become more easy and manageable if these myths are discarded.

Eating starch means more fat

Untrue. Starchy foodstuffs like potatoes and breads are fast-burning foods. These contain carbohydrates which provide the body instant energy. According to nutritionists, about 60% of our diet should consist of these foods.

Cutting too much calories can only lead to weight loss

Not completely true. When a person cuts too much calories the body’s metabolism rate becomes slow. Hence, the ability to lose weight decreases. Therefore, to lose weight it is advised to decrease the total caloric intake little by little. This way the body will keep on burning fat at the normal pace.

Give up on favorite food

Weight loss does not mean giving up on the favorite food. A person can relish his favorite food by making a healthy dish out of it and eating it in small portions.
