The last few days saw a relentless attack on its servers with the purpose of destabilizing it from the number one position that it enjoyed on all major search engines world over. Up on further analysis it was deduced that the origin of attack came from a different country. The perpetrators of this attack might be the competitor sites or perhaps the doing of some hacker groups; these facts are yet to be investigated up on however the nature of the attack and its origin has been deduced.

Medexpressrx.com underwent a DDoS attack (explained at the end of this post) due to which there was an exponential surge in the traffic to their servers forcing its servers to become unresponsive to genuine customers. The proactive security experts at medexpressrx.com immediately started the mitigation process and neutralized the HTTP  DDoS attack within 7 hrs. However as the attack remained persistent the mitigating firewall did made medexpressrx.com unavailable in certain areas.
