Alcohol consumption has become the favorite past time for youths or youngsters these days. A party is just incomplete without alcohol. It may seem to be fun in the start but alcohol binging when takes a bitter turn then that person turns into an alcoholic one.
Very few know that alcohol affects the working of the central nervous system, promotes relaxation and eases the anxiety levels. Alcohol may it be in the form of a beer, wine and alcohol tastes good to many and that is how alcohol consumption from one peg occasionally becomes three pegs a day.

 

What does excessive alcohol drinking lead to?

The short term after effect of drinking alcohol is hangover. What follows next due to excessive drinking of alcohol is damage to the body organs. It has been studied that one in four men are admitted to hospitals due to excessive alcohol consumption. In majority of the cases even domestic violence is an outcome due to excessive alcohol consumption. So what’s the way out?

 

  1. The first and foremost way would be by making up the mind to avoid and slowly give up alcohol.
  2. If drinking post work or during weekends has become a use then try to cut on it.
  3. Set for self a goal and drink just one drink or two to three and stick to it.
  4. Make the first drink a soft one
  5. Br strong and try giving up the curbing even if the friends around are forcing too.
