In fact, the latter group recovered faster. Mothers who had consumed fish oil have babies who recovered faster from various forms of respiratory diseases such as wheezing, coughing, congestion, and running nose.  Most of these children recovered a month earlier as compared to the other group of children. By the time these babies (the ones whose mothers took fish oil) were 6 months old, they had less severe experiences of difficult breathing.
