Men are prone to physical issues due to social and personal barriers; they are also equivalently susceptible to psychological disturbance due to various mental pressure and tension. It should be known that psychological issues are characterized by lack of control in certain situations. It is often that such loss of control is a part of behavioral pattern which also includes other faulty or maladaptive thoughts as well as actions. In case lack of control is just a part of a disorder it need not be a component of behavioral pattern; however, it may require other symptoms to conduct a successful diagnosis.

In case of men there are certain mental malfunctions which are mainly characterized by loss of control. Some of these conditions are as follows:

Intermittent Explosive Disorder:

It is one of the common maladaptive psychological conditions wherein intermittent or seldom recurring episodes of violent actions by the victim causes destruction of objects or property or even in physical attack on present individuals or other related member. Usually in such a case the physiologically disturbed individual has to confront accusations of attempting attack or domestic violence.  This disorder is especially due to loss of control mostly due to anger which causes him to lose control. In such a case under the influence of extreme emotions, the psychologically disturbed individual does not take the responsibility or blame, but blames the victim for the incident.

Domestic Violence:

Domestic Violence is a specific kind of IED or Intermittent Explosive Disorder. In case of Domestic Violence the affected individuals loses control in case of interpersonal relationship. Such psychologically affected men have standard short- temperedness and cannot manage anger. In case of domestic violence a men can cure his psychological conditions effectively only when away from his house. The diagnosis criteria in this scenario are more or less similar to that of IED. However, sometimes the accused may try to become intoxicated before confrontation. Becoming intoxicated frees the individual from social restrictions and provides an excuse for being out of control.

Pyromania:

This is a weird but a common kind of psychological conditions wherein the psychologically afflicted individual tries to set fire. The affected man does this to obtain pleasure and sense of gratification from the execution. It should be understood that such scenario does not involve setting fire for monetary benefits or to express anger or any such reasons; but in fact the act is performed by the individual only for obtaining pure sense of pleasure.
There are some other such conditions such as Kleptomania, pathological Gambling, Trichotillomania etc. These psychological conditions are recorded in some cases wherein a man is mentally affected due to trauma or other possible situations.
