The only drawback is that the skin may remain red for a few days. The very same effect can be found on the use of aspirin and it does not cost a bomb.
An aspirin mask is an effective acne fighting treatment that can leave the skin soft, even toned; with a natural glow. It’s cheap and effective and has a brilliant exfoliating action. Some women use it despite the fact that they don’t have acne as it makes the skin appear bright and reduces the dullness.
How to make aspirin mask?
To make aspirin mask, you need the following ingredients
- 4 to 5 aspirins (those are uncoated)
- A table spoon of yoghurt, honey or aloe Vera gel.
- A table spoon or two of warm water
Place the aspirin in a plastic or glass container and add some water. Keep doing this till you can make a fine paste out of it. To this you can add honey (oily skin) or aloe Vera (normal skin to sensitive skin) and yoghurt (oily skin) and make the paste thick. Apply the mask in a thin layer on the skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Remove it gently in a circular motion so that you do not rub the skin too much. Wash you face with warm water, dab dry and moistures with a mild lotion.
It is important to check for allergies by applying a bit on your hand for 2 minutes.
