- Turmeric-
One of the most common spices used in the Asian sub-continent, turmeric is known to add some color to every day food. Regular intake of turmeric is also believed to decrease the level of LDL, also known as the bad cholesterol. This in turn helps to control increasing blood pressure. - Cardamom-
It is a thermogenic herb i.e a herb that helps people to increase the metabolic rate of their heart and thus helps burn fat at a higher rate. Cardamom is a form of spice that is added to various preparations and helps in faster digestion of food and also helps in processing of other food items extremely efficiently.
- Chilies-
Food items that contain chilly help to burn fat at a much faster rate. Chilly is believed to be rich in capsaicin, an element that can increase the basic metabolic rate. Same as cardamom, chilly is a thermogenic food. Post 20 minutes of having chilly, the body starts to burn calories. Chilly is also one of the most loved spices in food items.
- Curry leaves-
Having curry food as a part of our daily diet can help most of us loose weight. Curry leaves are also known to flush out the toxins as they cut out the fat. People, who are severely overweight, can have 10 curry leaves in their daily diet and lose weight. Or they can opt for finely chopped portion of 10 leaves with water, while dieting. The effects are fantabulous.
