Holiday allergies are usually triggered by gifts, sandy homes and garden decorations along with heady potpourri in the form of the Christmas tree. Some of the most common allergy triggers this season are:

 

  • Your Christmas Tree- We dont realize that the wood can set off some strong allergic reactions. That perfect fir tree, concealing the twinkling lamps and the Christmas gift- could be answerable to your nose, bland eye sight and the skin rashes that you may be suffering from. But you can save yourself from all this by wearing gloves and puting on long sleeves shirts so that there is no direct contact between you skin and the tree.  Before  you get the tree into your home, give it a good clean up or subject it to a  leaf blower  so as to get rid of all the pollen grains and dust.
  • Ornaments – For the last few weeks of the year, you jumble decorations, remove  bulbs and christmas decorations that are kept away for most part of the year. Whenever the boxes of purple, green and gold coverings are removed, they are followed by a severe sneezing, hacking and nose-blowing. You can stop it by cleaning every item thoroughly; if there is a chance to repack, do it and save your personal excursion adornment in airtight containers; this will also keep them dry.  Also, go slow around the spray snowfall — you’ll most certainly enjoy the appearance of snowy home windows, but aerosols  may cause irritation indicators around the eye area, nose or health of your lungs.
  • Your aunt’s Christmas cake- The cake that you aunt baked with her speciale coating could be accountable for your sneezing fit. In the event you have food products allergies, this christmas you should be ready for the symptoms, as you are bound to be around food products always. Typical food allergens are dairy products, offspring, seed, fish, seafood, nuts, wood wild and rice.
